The salon treats beauty as a whole and each client as an individual, coordinating hair, makeup, skin care, nutrition, wellness and fashion. Cuts are designed around each client's facial features, with highlights and lowlights used for depth and dimension. The salon is also known for makeovers, and the Color Amplifying Glazes are a sheer at-home product line built around correcting brassiness.

The Fifth Avenue salon is a loft with a semi-private three-chair area and a main room of 15 stations. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability, though appointments are recommended and can be requested through the website or by email. Bridal work is available at either salon or onsite, for parties of any size, with off-site pricing set by consultation based on travel, number of people and styles. The Pound Ridge location offers free parking.

Apprentices spend two to four years training before they take on clients, and much of that time is hands-on mentoring under Eva Scrivo. The curriculum includes exact cutting with shears and razors, hand-painted balayage, and classic foil highlighting. The salon says it is regularly counted among the top names in the industry. It also cites Allure Magazine's Best of Beauty directories for haircutting, color and bridal styling, plus coverage in New York Magazine, The New York Times Style Magazine and Town & Country.
