Waxing takes place in private suites. Services can be adjusted to a guest's comfort and preference. Body and facial results typically last three to four weeks, depending on hair growth and the area. Appointments usually run 10 to 45 minutes, while full-body waxing can take 45 minutes to an hour. For Brazilian waxing, the specialist applies a pre-wax oil, uses Comfort Wax applied with the direction of hair growth, and removes it without a cloth strip. Afterward, soothing after-wax products are used on the skin.
Walk-ins are accepted when time allows, but booking a reservation is recommended to secure a preferred time, and online booking is available. Hours at Southpark Meadows are 8am to 8pm Monday, 8am to 9pm Tuesday through Friday, 7am to 8pm Saturday and 8am to 7pm Sunday. Cancelling or rescheduling requires advance notice. A fee of 50% of the scheduled service total applies to cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead or to no-shows.
Before a wax, hair should be about a quarter inch long, and first-time guests are advised to stop shaving at least two weeks ahead. Guests are also asked to avoid tanning, alcohol and large amounts of caffeine beforehand, and to mention any medications to the specialist. Exfoliation should be skipped for 48 hours after waxing, and hot showers, saunas, swimming, tight clothing and strenuous exercise should be avoided for 24 hours. For facial waxing, the center advises avoiding retinoids and exfoliating acids for 48 hours beforehand.
Single-service prices at Southpark Meadows include full arms at $51, half arms at $44, full back at $76, Brazilian at $66, full bikini at $55, bikini line at $48, full legs at $84, full face at $62 and eyebrows at $22. Bundles listed online are discounted 10% from everyday prices. Wax Pass memberships save up to 25% per service, according to the business.
