Bikini work is a large part of the menu. A bikini line wax tidies the edges just outside underwear, a full bikini removes more hair from the front with coverage you choose, such as a strip, triangle, square or fully bare, and a Brazilian clears hair from front to back with an optional butt strip. The Redwood City center says all of its bikini and Brazilian services can be adjusted to a guest's comfort. Men are served as well, with men's Brazilian and back waxing among the listed options.
Body and facial services cover arms, underarms, legs, back, shoulders, stomach, chest, butt, hands, toes and more, along with brows, lip, chin, cheeks, nose, ears, neck, hairline, sideburns and full face. Eyebrow tinting is offered, and the Redwood City center lists a semi-permanent eyebrow tint as part of a bundle. Guests can book online or call the center, and mobile check-in is available. Walk-ins are accepted when time allows, though booking is recommended, especially for first-time guests who need consultation time.
Single services are priced individually, and several services are listed as starting at a set amount. Wax Passes lower the per-visit cost by up to 25% per service, with options that include Single Center, Redeem Anywhere, Unlimited and Student passes at select centers. Many passes never expire, and some work at more than one location. New guests can buy nine services and get three free, in center only. Guests earn points on services and products through EWC Rewards. Changes need advance notice, and a cancellation less than 24 hours ahead or a no-show may be charged 50% of the scheduled price.
Before a bikini wax, the Redwood City page suggests letting hair grow to about a quarter inch, exfoliating 24 to 48 hours ahead, and skipping lotions, oils and creams that day. Afterward, it advises avoiding hot showers, baths, saunas, pools, tight clothing and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and pausing exfoliation for 48 hours before resuming it gently two or three times a week. A bikini wax typically lasts three to four weeks, depending on hair growth.
The company says its waxing is inclusive and suits any gender, skin type or hair texture, with services it describes as tailored to each guest.
