EureXclusive Wax Studio

EureXclusive Wax Studio sits in downtown Suffolk, Virginia, and combines a salon with a waxing school. The salon side offers unisex full-body waxing and facial services, while the school trains people to become licensed wax technicians or to add advanced waxing skills.

Founded in 2020 by Courtney Eure, the teaching program starts with a 115-hour hybrid course, taken partly online and partly in person, that covers full-body waxing, a range of waxing techniques and preparation for the Virginia state board test. Completing it brings a certificate of completion and lifelong mentorship from the studio. The state license is issued by DPOR after passing the board test and is valid only in Virginia. Tuition is $2,200 with books and supplies included, and students enroll by calling the studio.

For licensed wax technicians, cosmetologists and estheticians there are shorter classes: a six-hour full-body waxing refresher ($750), and three-hour in-person Brazilian and Manzilian wax expert courses ($350 each). The Brazilian course requires students to provide two female models and the Manzilian course requires one male model. All tuition and class fees are nonrefundable.
