Esthetics By Merissa is a skin care studio at 266 NW 1st Ave in downtown Canby, operating inside Sprigg & Koehler Salon. Access to the studio is by stairs, as there is no elevator.
The facial menu ranges from a 35-minute Lunch Break Facial with a double cleanse, exfoliation and mask at $40, to a 60-minute Teen Clear Skin Facial at $75 that includes skin care education. A Gentleman's Facial, a 60-minute treatment at $90, is designed for skin irritated by shaving, environment or stress. Custom signature facials start at $110 for 60 minutes or $160 for 90 minutes, the longer version including décolleté care. Oxygen RX, also called the Red Carpet Facial, is a 75-minute treatment starting at $175 aimed at redness, rosacea and breakouts, and combines a cocoa enzyme exfoliation, oxygen treatment, extractions and a hydrating mask.
Microneedling is offered for the full face at $265 per session, or for the face, neck and décolleté at $295 for a 90-minute session. Multi-session packages are priced for three, four and six sessions in both areas. The studio describes microneedling as non-invasive and says it is used for skin tone, texture, pore size, wrinkles, scars and stretch marks. It typically recommends between 3 and 8 sessions, and notes that results are usually seen between 4 and 10 sessions given every 3 to 4 weeks.
Treatments use Circadia products. Clients can also buy them online through a Circadia retailer page linked from the website, or pick up products and gift cards at no charge in a 10-minute visit. New clients and those whose skin has changed can book a 30-minute consultation for $25, which is applied toward future services or product purchases if they go ahead. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice or a 50% charge applies, and no-shows or no-call situations are charged the full appointment amount.
Each treatment plan starts with an assessment of the client's skin, using Circadia products and a consultation for new clients.
