Esthetic By Val

Esthetic By Val operates from a studio on Hayes in Clinton Township and is owned by Valan Hana, a licensed esthetician who goes by Val. The studio offers a broad menu of facial and skin treatments for the face, neck, decollete and back, along with lash, brow and waxing services.

The facial menu ranges from a 30-minute express HydraFacial and a 60-minute customized facial to a longer Deluxe HydraFacial that adds dermaplaning, LED light therapy and a scalp massage. Other facials address acne, aging concerns and peach fuzz, and a kiddie facial is also offered. Booster serums can be added to the Glow Up HydraFacial.

BioRePeel, a treatment using a 30% TCA peel, is a central part of the menu. It is offered on its own, with dermaplaning, for the face and neck, or combined with a HydraFacial or microneedling. The studio recommends a series of three to four sessions for BioRePeel, and a three-session package is available for the face or the face and neck. Microneedling is offered for the face, neck and back, with numbing included, and a microneedling and BioRePeel pairing is described by the studio as one of its most effective combinations.

Back and body work includes a back facial, back acne treatment, back peel, back HydraFacial, back microneedling and a body chemical peel. Waxing, brow tinting and lash tinting are available as add-ons, and an eyebrow lamination or eyelash lift can be booked on their own. Female scalp micropigmentation sessions are also offered.

Arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean the service cannot be accommodated. The studio sells GlyMed Plus professional skincare through its estheticians and also sells gift cards in fixed or custom amounts.
