Estetika Spa was founded by Patrycja Czarnecka. It was first located at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge and moved to its current Huron Village address in February 2014.

Estheticians at the spa start by assessing each client's skin care needs, then suggest treatments that fit the client's goals, concerns and skin type. Visits can be booked as a single appointment, as a longer treatment plan, or as ongoing skin maintenance. The salon says its treatments are based on recent research and use products it describes as medically validated, and it says they deliver proven results.

The facial menu is organized around three options: the Estetika Signature Facial, a 60-minute customized facial that can be paired with add-ons such as dermaplaning, Celuma LED light, BioRePeel or microdermabrasion; the Oxygen Rx Facial, a 60-minute treatment that uses the Oxygen Rx system to deliver oxygen to the skin and is suitable for all skin types; and the Teen Facial, a 60-minute treatment aimed at cleansing pores, regulating oil and calming blemishes. The salon says the best results from the Teen Facial come from monthly visits.

Beyond facials, the spa offers in-office treatments including microneedling, which uses small sterile needles to create controlled punctures in the outer skin layer and is also called collagen induction therapy. Each microneedling session includes a topical numbing cream, growth factors and a hyaluronic acid serum. Other options include microdermabrasion using a diamond surface, dermaplaning with a surgical blade, and the Refine and Clarify peels, which are each followed by a Retinol Activator.

Practical visit details: clients are asked to arrive 15 minutes early and to tell their esthetician about any health concerns or conditions. A credit card is required to hold a first-time appointment, and cancellations need 24 hours' notice to avoid a 50% fee. Gift cards and eGift cards are available.

Estheticians tailor each visit to the client's skin needs, goals and skin type, and they suggest a single treatment, a longer plan or ongoing maintenance to suit.
