Each visit begins with a short phone consultation with a licensed provider. The business says that some medical conditions may not be suitable after the provider reviews a client's history. Minors under 18 are not treated without a parent's consent, and for pregnant clients the business prefers to speak with the obstetrician beforehand.
Hydration drips include 1,000 ml of a balanced salt solution, either Lactated Ringer's or Normal Saline. An IV drip usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. Sterile supplies are used and the insertion site is cleaned with alcohol. Private parties of any size are welcome, and the business says large groups may receive special promotions.
Covid-19 testing can also be done at the client's home, with PCR and rapid options and antibody testing available. PCR results can arrive in as little as 48 hours and rapid results in as little as 15 minutes. The business lists PCR testing for pre-travel, employee, back-to-school or pre-event screening, recent exposure, and confirming a diagnosis, and recommends waiting five days after a recent exposure before testing.
Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid do not cover private IV therapy, and the business does not accept insurance. It says its rates are lower than an urgent care or emergency room visit.
Medications and supplements are selected based on the symptoms a client reports during the provider consultation, and IV treatments are given by registered nurses.
