Makeup is applied with either airbrush or traditional methods; airbrush is not typically recommended for textured or mature skin.

For wedding parties, anyone other than the bride, including mothers, friends, aunties and guests, is charged at the attendant rate. Eye-only makeup is available, but partial face rates are not offered. The price is the same whether or not a client adds lashes. A non-refundable retainer holds the wedding date, and once a contract is signed the number of people receiving services cannot be reduced. Changes to the wedding location, time or number of guests go through the booking agency. Clients cover any valet or parking fees on the wedding day, and the artist needs an electrical outlet and a table or desk on site. Work is not currently offered out of state.

Hygiene is part of the routine: each member of a bridal party gets freshly cleaned brushes and new disposables, products are not double dipped, and hands and tools are sanitized between clients, with metal tools wiped with alcohol spray. Wedding-day service takes 40 to 45 minutes per person, or longer for complex looks, and the bride usually needs 45 minutes to an hour, plus a few extra minutes per person for infection control.

Tattoo coverage starts at $100, and extra time may be needed depending on the size and location of the tattoo. The freelance kit includes shades for every skin tone.

Makeup is customized for each client, with a kit stocked for every skin tone and a focus on helping brides reach the skin and makeup they want for their wedding.
