According to the salon, its mission is to provide the finest services and products in the current beauty field. The salon also states that its hairstyling work and its ALT hair products have been seen on celebrities, magazine covers, television shows, at New York Fashion Week and in editorial shoots spanning New York to Shanghai. These are the salon's own claims.

The menu is built around color. Balayage and highlighting (blonding) are offered alongside single process color, color contouring, and half and full foil. Haircuts, blowouts and a barber cut round out the list. Several a la carte treatments support color between appointments, including color re-balancing, shadow root with re-balancing, base between color, a customized conditioning treatment, and a chlorine or hard water treatment. Hairline and part touch-ups can only be booked with a junior stylist and must fall within 14 days of the last color service.

Booking details matter here. A credit card is required to hold an appointment, though it is not charged at booking. Appointments should be cancelled at least 48 hours ahead; a no-show or late cancellation is charged 50% of the booked service, and a 100% deposit is required for future bookings after a no-show. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may have their service shortened or be asked to reschedule. Children under 12 are not allowed in the salon, and guests are asked to come without extra non-service companions. A $10 fee applies to clients with long, thick hair or extensions. Personal checks are not accepted, and major credit and debit cards are accepted with a processing fee of up to 3.5%. Gratuity cannot be added to card payments. Clients agree to text communication by replying Y to the first reminder text.
