The laser work is done with a Zemits Diopulse triple-wavelength diode laser that operates at 755, 808 and 1064 nm. According to the studio, this newer generation of diode laser offers higher precision and more consistent hair reduction than older diode models. Settings are adjusted to skin type, hair color, the body area being treated and each client's comfort. The first laser visit reviews skin tone, hair color, recent tanning, medications and the areas to be treated, and most laser clients begin with 6 to 8 sessions spaced by area.
Waxing covers Brazilian, bikini, underarm, leg, arm and small-zone areas, and combinations of these can be booked together. Fresh sticks, clean linens and gloves are used for every appointment. Most waxing clients return every four to six weeks, and results are described as lasting about three to five weeks. Clients with sensitive skin can book, but should mention retinoids, peels or recent sun exposure beforehand.
Laser settings and the treatment plan are personalized after the practitioner sees hair color and skin tone, before anything is reserved.
The studio describes its visits as calm and private.
