Enhance Electrolysis

Enhance Electrolysis focuses on permanent hair removal through electrolysis. Because each hair is treated on its own, the method takes a series of appointments. Visits are spaced more closely at the start and further apart once the desired clearance is reached, since hair grows in cycles.

The method suits all skin types, skin tones and hair colors, including blonde and white hair. Clients usually describe a warm tingling sensation, and how much discomfort is felt varies by person and area. Redness and slight swelling can occur and typically fade within a day.

A first visit starts with a free consultation that reviews medical history, explains the procedure and hair growth, and includes a short session removing a few hairs. For a day or two afterward, the treated area should be kept clean with a mild antiseptic and protected from sun, heat, water, makeup and fragrance.

Preparation is straightforward. Hair should be allowed to grow for three days before treatment, and between sessions only clipping or shaving is permitted. Clients are asked to stop retinoids and glycolic acid a week ahead, avoid sun for 48 hours, and skip alcohol, caffeine and makeup on the day, while staying well hydrated.

Appointments are available in the evenings and on weekends. Bookings are made by phone, text or email. Prices are $45 for 15 minutes, $75 for 30 minutes, $100 for 45 minutes and $125 for 60 minutes, including sales tax. Payment is due at the visit by cash or card, and gratuity is not accepted. Cancellations made within 24 hours or missed appointments are charged 50% of the booked treatment.

Each hair is treated individually with a customized plan for every client, and the business follows the infection control standards set by the American Electrology Association.
