EmzXnails is a one-person nail studio in Minneapolis, run by owner Emz Yang, who also does the nail work. The studio focuses on gel products and offers gel manicures, nail enhancements and pedicures.

The menu is organized around enhancements and gel sets. Structured gel, BIAB and builder gel sets are offered in soft or hard gel, either as new sets or as fills and rebalances, and start at $75. Gel manicure overlays suit short to medium natural nails and include up to two gel colors, with extra colors at $5 each. Dual forms, a Russian-style dual form technique in hard gel or acryl gel, can be done on any length and start at $95. Full cover Gel-X tip extensions start at $80 and, according to the site, last about three to four weeks and can be filled once.

Pedicures include a traditional soak pedicure with a callus scrub, nail trim, cuticle care, sugar scrub, mask, hot towel, lotion massage and polish, starting at $65, plus a shorter express version. Pedicure add-ons such as Gel-X toes, structure gel on big toes and gel tips can be added to a manicure or pedicure from $20.

Other services include a classic clean-up manicure without polish for $50, nail repairs for broken or chipped nails and missing charms or stones from $15, and nail removals for clients taking a break from nail services, which include cuticle care and a hot towel, from $12. Nail art can be added to most nail services from $15. A whole-day booking of eight hours for one person covers any nail service and any art, with an hour of rest built in for the artist, for $500.

Booking requires a deposit for some services: $30 for the clean-up manicure, $250 for the whole-day booking. Appointments can be rescheduled without a fee up to 48 hours ahead. Cancelling inside that window carries a fee of 80% of the booked services, with a non-refundable deposit usually at 40%. Arriving more than 15 minutes late adds a $15 late fee. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, and needs approval before the appointment.

The studio uses only high quality gel products and treats health and sanitation as central to every service.
