Empress Nails

Empress Nails is a one-person business run by Sarah, a licensed nail tech in Detroit. Clients book through the studio's phone line at (313) 312-5665 or by email, and appointments are offered Monday through Friday with afternoon and evening times, and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. The studio is closed on Sundays.

The menu covers nail enhancements in acrylic, polygel and gel, along with full manicures and pedicures and a range of add-ons. Add-on prices vary. Prices listed online for enhancements, manicures and pedicures are deposits, so the final cost is set by the service booked. Every appointment includes a complimentary hand scrub.

The studio uses EMA products exclusively and does not use MMA. Strict sanitation guidelines are followed for every client. Work is not layered over another technician's product; a client arriving with another tech's set needs a soak-off and a fresh set before service.

Booking requires a non-refundable deposit that is applied to the total at checkout. A deposit can be moved once to a new date if the change is requested at least 24 hours ahead. Arriving more than 10 minutes late cancels the appointment and forfeits the deposit, and missing an appointment without a phone call leads to being blocked from future booking. No refunds are offered on services, and clients receive only the service they booked. Clients should arrive with clean, bare nails unless the booking includes a soak-off, and should share the desired length, shape and style at the start of the visit. Extra guests and children are not allowed unless they are being serviced.

Sanitation standards are followed and only EMA products are used, with no MMA.
