Sugaring is a hair removal method that dates back to Egypt. At Emerald Esthetics it is the main service: a paste made from sugar, water and lemon juice is applied and then removed without strips, sticks or applicators, and the hair is pulled from the follicle.

Before and after treatment, the studio uses pre-cleanse and post-sugaring products on the skin. The studio presents sugaring as a gentler and more eco-friendly option than waxing, saying the paste is biodegradable and can be removed with warm water. These are the studio's own claims.

The studio describes itself as a private, safe space for clients of all genders, sizes and ages, and as a place for self-care that is free of judgement. Services are open to men as well as women, though Brazilian, bikini and booty services are offered to women only.

Booking policies are clear: a 20% fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, and arriving more than 10 minutes late may lead to cancellation and the same fee. Children and pets are not permitted during appointments. Buy Now, Pay Later is available through the booking platform for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.
