About

The business is expanding to Southern California: a Costa Mesa studio at Aspire Salon Studios is listed as opening in November, and the website invites visitors to join a waitlist.

Every treatment is adjusted to the individual client's skin. A 60-minute one-on-one Skincare Consultation looks at skin type, concerns, routine and lifestyle to build a customized regimen, and its $100 fee can be applied toward any product purchase. Clients who cannot come to the studio can book a virtual Acne Bootcamp Consultation instead.

Acne Bootcamp is a program lasting three to six months. It begins with a required initial consultation and combines a personalized at-home routine, in-office treatments every two weeks, and education on acne triggers and lifestyle factors. Current program members can also book an Acne Bootcamp Treatment, a 60-minute session. Separately, the 60-minute Acne Enzyme Treatment uses Face Reality's hydrating enzyme acne product with a double cleanse, enzyme masque, LED light, high-frequency treatment and extractions.

The facial menu ranges from a 45-minute Dermaplane Facial to the Prism HydraFacial, a luxury treatment of about 90 minutes or more. Between them sit the Bubbly HydraFacial (30 minutes), the Selenite HydraFacial, which the salon describes as its most popular treatment and a starting point for first-time clients, and the EmCo Experience Facial, which adds massage and can include lymphatic drainage. Other options include a custom chemical peel for brightening, texture or blemishes followed by LED light, ProCell Microchanneling, a 20-minute needle-free CO2 carboxy gel treatment, a 20-minute Lip & Eye Perk Duo, and 30-minute brow waxing. Gift cards are offered.

Emily says clients can come in for acne care, self-care or a boost to their routine, just as they are.

Treatments are customized to each client's skin, with education and long-term results valued over quick fixes. The salon describes its treatments as combining professional technique with holistic wellness and mindfulness.

The studio is described as calm, relaxing and peaceful.
