Sarah learned from several stylists, Mercedes among them, while she was still in school. The salon presents itself as a calm, friendly space where appointments are not rushed.

Women's haircuts include a consultation, a shampoo and conditioner chosen for the client's hair type, the cut and a blowout, and usually take 60 to 90 minutes. Balayage is soft, multidimensional color that is lighter around the face and at the ends and blended at the roots; a balayage visit runs 3 to 5 hours and includes a consultation, highlights, a root smudge, toner, and either a cut or a blowout. Highlights are foil-based, can be bold or subtle, and take 2.5 to 3.5 hours; touch-ups are recommended every 8 to 12 weeks. All over color changes the color of the whole head, using permanent color for grey coverage and semi-permanent gloss for darker tones. Every all over color visit begins with a detailed color consultation, takes 2 to 2.5 hours, and needs a root retouch every 4 to 8 weeks. Grey transformation starts with a three-month grow-out, followed by highlighting matched to the client's grey pattern, and begins with an in-person consultation to plan the process and cost.

Pricing depends on hair length, density and the stylist's experience, so the salon points to its detailed price list on the website for specifics. Listed prices start at $60 for a women's haircut, $85 for a gloss with blowout, and $200 for a partial balayage with blowout.
