Permanent hair removal is done with the Apilus xCell Pur machine. The studio describes this device as the most advanced technology available for permanent hair removal and one of the most trusted solutions in the industry; these are the studio's own claims. A consultation is listed at no charge and runs 30 minutes or more.

Before a session, clients are asked to exfoliate the treatment area and keep it free of lotion, makeup and oil. Plucking, waxing and threading should be avoided beforehand, and shaving is fine except on the day of the appointment. Caffeine is discouraged that day, and retinoids and acid serums should be stopped before electrolysis begins and throughout treatment. Clients should mention any medical conditions, medications, serums or recent sun exposure, and avoid sun for at least three days before and two days after a visit.

Afterward, the area should be cleansed gently and left untouched, with whatever cream or ointment the electrologist recommends applied. For 24 to 48 hours, makeup, retinoids, acid serums and exfoliants should stay off the treated area, and heavy sweating, working out and tanning should be avoided.
