About

Elite Aesthetics Academy is an esthetician school in Denver, located on the third floor of Expo Colorado; visitors take the elevator from the main lobby and a free visitor parking lot sits next to the building. Tours start in the lobby of Dream Medspa, and the classroom door is used once a student has enrolled. Office hours are Monday to Friday. Erica Roybal is the founder and school director, and Amber Rodri is the administrator and operations manager.

The academy's stated mission is to prepare students for licensure, certification and work with the public. Its listed values are quality education, professionalism, innovation, diversity and inclusivity, and continuous improvement. The school is state approved, regulated by the Colorado Division of Private Occupational Schools, and a candidate for accreditation. It also lists NACCAS among its education bodies, and the school describes itself as Denver's premier esthetician school.

The 600-hour esthetician program is hybrid. It includes 150 hours of self-paced online coursework on the Milady CIMA platform, based on the Milady curriculum, and 450 hours in person at the training facility, including 130 clinic hours working on clients under instructor supervision. Topics include facials, skin analysis, skin care, waxing, makeup, brow and lash design, hair removal, and state laws and rules. Students can choose a weekday program running Wednesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM over about 17 weeks, an evening program running Wednesday to Friday, 4:30 to 8:30 PM over about 27 weeks, or a weekend program running Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM over about 20 weeks. Students must finish within 12 months of enrolling, and no prior experience is needed. Program start dates for 2027 are January 6 for evenings, January 9 for weekends and March 24 for weekdays. The school says it has a 99% State Board pass rate, and graduates receive a certificate that qualifies them to sit for the state board exam. A State Board exam kit with practice exams, study guides and a supervised protocol review is included.

Past the foundational program, the academy also teaches advanced chemical peels, microdermabrasion (wet microdermabrasion included) and dermaplaning. Students can take an Esthetics plus 3 Certifications bundle that covers all three. The permanent makeup track addresses brow mapping, microblading, machine shading, lip blush, lip neutralization, color theory and sanitation. It includes supervised work on live models as well as latex practice, and it is structured around Colorado body art health regulations and bloodborne pathogen certification requirements. Separate one-on-one masterclasses focus on nanobrows, permanent eyeliner, dark lip neutralization and lip blush. Additional offerings cover cosmetic laser work, eyelash extensions, waxing, lash lifts with brow lamination, and an overview of medspa operations.

Tuition for the 600-hour program is $9,800 and includes books, the student kit and the enrollment program fee, with a $900 enrollment deposit. The cash esthetics bundle is $10,475, and the bundle with three certifications is $10,805. Payment plans are available through tuition installments and third-party financing, with 0% interest listed for the esthetician and 132-hour permanent makeup programs. VA education benefits are accepted, subject to program approval and individual eligibility. Career services include resume help, portfolio building, interview preparation and job search strategies, though the school does not guarantee employment.

Students practice on live models and real clients under instructor supervision, and the training follows Colorado licensing rules, infection-control standards, and OSHA and DORA-aligned standards. Instructors also currently practice esthetics.
