ēlia opened in 2017 as a clean-ingredient spa, and founder Nichole Nace created and curated the services on the menu. The spa describes itself as toxin-free. According to the spa, its products are free of parabens, synthetic fragrance, phthalates, mineral oil and dyes, and some are made without essential oils for guests with extra-sensitive skin. Skincare is also sold in the shop and online, including cleansers, toners, moisturizers and body oil.

The facial menu is wide. Guests can choose a short Princess Facial for girls ages 2 to 10 with a parent present, express options such as Dermaplane Express and Facial Express, longer dermaplane facials, holistic peels and an acne facial, a 90-minute Manual Lymphatic Drainage facial, and YonKa facials in standard and French versions. Dermaplane can be added to most facials for $40. According to the spa, dermaplane is its most popular service, with about 1,100 performed each year.

Beyond the face, the spa offers Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, craniosacral, Thai foot reflexology and couples massage, plus body treatments that include a YonKa full body sugar scrub and short YonKa Journey add-ons. Waxing runs from lip to full leg, and lash and brow services include lifts, tints and laminations. Enhancements such as Oxygen Infusion, High Frequency, Light Therapy and Nap Time can be added to many services.

Services are booked by appointment only, online through Vagaro or by phone. Guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early. First-time guests complete intake forms on arrival, and text reminders go out 72 hours before an appointment. Rescheduling needs at least 48 hours' notice, and the spa has a missed-appointment and deposit policy. Manual Lymphatic Drainage and prenatal massage have their own requirements, including doctor or provider clearance in some cases.

The Renewal Collective is a wellness program created by three women: Candace Longo, Alaina Rhodes and Nichole Nace. Its 1 Day Retreat is priced at $285, is all-inclusive, and is limited to five attendees. Retreat days run from 9am to about 4pm in a private upstairs lounge overlooking Historic Downtown Columbia. They include a clean-ingredient breakfast and lunch, two morning sessions and one afternoon session, and close with a face, neck and brain manual lymphatic drainage. Customized treatment plans can continue after a retreat for as long as the client wants.
