The salon opened in Eldersburg, Maryland, in 1996 with six stations and four stylists. Three co-owners joined the business in 2015, and a Frederick location followed in 2018 with 15 employees. The Eldersburg location has since added a second level and now employs more than 35 people. Paris Cimino is the founder.

Guests who are unsure which stylist suits them can complete the free matchmaking survey on the website. Virtual consultations can also be booked online, and the salon's app lets clients manage appointments, track loyalty rewards and buy gift cards.

Services range from simple cuts and blowouts to multi-step color and extension appointments. Color pricing is based on up to 120 grams of color, with a $25 mix charge for each additional 120 grams or less. Extension and halo appointments begin with a complimentary consultation covering color, length, extension type and pricing. Quiet appointments can be requested at the time of booking, and new clients receive a Cost to Create at their first visit.
