Clients of any gender are welcome, including transgender clients, and the team says it will work with each person toward the look they want. Laser hair removal generally suits fair skin with dark hair, while electrolysis suits white, blonde, gray or red hair and is recommended for very dark skin.

Visits are by appointment only, and a free consultation is offered first. Laser sessions deliver short bursts of light to the follicle, with a cooling spray on the skin for comfort. Because hair grows in cycles of roughly four to eight weeks, appointments are timed around those cycles, and at least six laser treatments are recommended, with more possible for the best results. Electrolysis treats each follicle with a sterile, disposable needle and heat.

Laser treatments are done only with Candela equipment. Before laser treatment begins, clients stop bleaching, plucking and waxing for four weeks and shave or trim instead. Clients should avoid tanning and wear SPF 30 or higher on the treated area. For 24 to 48 hours afterward, aftercare should be followed, and pools, hot tubs, hot water, saunas and sunbathing should be avoided for at least 24 hours.

Laser hair removal uses a series of short light pulses on each follicle with Candela equipment, while electrolysis places a sterile disposable needle in each follicle and applies heat. Appointments are scheduled around the four to eight week hair growth cycle.
