Electrolysis dates to 1875, when Dr. Charles Michel developed it to remove ingrown eyelashes. The method places a fine probe into the hair follicle and applies a slight electrical current to destroy the cells that produce hair. The practice offers galvanic, thermolysis and blended electrolysis, and the business states that electrolysis can be used on all hair and skin types, unlike laser.
Visits begin with a free consultation. Sessions are booked by time, from a one-hour appointment, and a prepaid package of six hours with a seventh hour free is also available. Clients describe the space as private, tranquil and relaxing.
