The salon says education is key to keeping up with the latest trends, and its stylists take classes, study new methods and hold extension certifications. The products it uses are described as clean and safe for clients and the environment. Clients can also buy hair extensions through the salon.

Early morning appointments can be accommodated. The salon is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11am to 7pm, Friday from 10am to 3pm, and closed Sundays and Mondays. Children are welcome at appointments, including first cuts and back-to-school styles, but they should not run around the salon, touch tools or play on equipment, and there is no childcare, though stylists can offer safe toys on request. Dogs may come along if they are house trained, non-aggressive and kept near their owner.

Online bookings require a credit card on file, and the salon does not store full card numbers. Please give 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be charged 50 percent of the expected service total, which can be credited toward a rebooked visit, and no-call no-shows are charged 50 percent and are non-refundable. Clients who cancel several appointments within four months may be asked for a 50 percent deposit, and after three no-call no-shows, rebooked appointments require a non-refundable full deposit.

For weddings, the salon books only one wedding per day. A bridal trial is a planning meeting to settle the look, the timing and any adjustments for the big day. Travel to a wedding or event costs 30 dollars per stylist within a one hour drive and 75 dollars per stylist beyond that, stylists arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to set up, and destination weddings are quoted on request. Clients may bring their own extensions if they are clean, manageable and 100 percent human hair, with advance notice, and clip-in extensions applied on the day of an event carry a 30 dollar up-charge.
