According to the salon, new stylists must complete 4000 hours of training, far more than the 1500 hours the state requires, and must pass all final testing before they start building their own client base. Every stylist attends at least two major educational events a year, and the business describes growth and learning as part of its everyday culture. Prices aren't listed online, so anyone wanting a quote needs to phone the salon. The salon explains that its rates take into account a stylist's tenure, how many of their assigned guests keep booking, and their ongoing study.

To book, clients can use the online booking system or call 313-885-9001, since appointment requests cannot be sent by email. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice. Clients with two or more no-shows must provide credit card details before booking again.
