Eyelash extensions are the core of the menu. Classic individual sets use 100% mink lashes. Full sets include a Natural Classic set from $150, Edna's Medium and Color Me Beautiful sets at $175, The Reyna Full-Set at $165 (a custom set designed with mapping), a UV natural full set at $165 that takes about an hour and a half, and the signature Volume Glam set at $200. Fills are priced by how long it has been since the last visit: a 14-day lash fill at $55, a 14-day volume fill at $65, a color fill at $65, a hybrid fill at $75 and an over-14-day fill at $80. Fills require a set share of the extensions to still be attached, and foreign fills for lashes applied by another studio are $95, accepted after evaluation. A removal is $40, and a returning lash clients special runs from October 1 to October 15 at $125.
Eyebrow services include razor arching at $10, waxing at $12, brow fill-in at $16, arching with a fill-in highlight at $20 and brow tinting at $25. Microblading starts at $350 and takes about an hour and five minutes, and microshading is $250. Retouches are $100 at six weeks or $200 for one to two years. The salon says its microblading and shading results last up to two years, and oilier skin may need more frequent touch-ups that are not included in the original price. Visits usually run about two hours, children cannot attend, and the business does not recommend microblading for under-18s, pregnant or nursing clients, or people with certain listed conditions, including recent Botox, diabetes, epilepsy, chemotherapy and pacemakers.
Lip blush is a permanent makeup technique done with a tattoo machine. The business says it lasts two to four years and can help define lip outlines, restore color to pale lips, camouflage scars and hypo-pigmentation, and reduce daily lip pencil use. The initial appointment is $650 and includes a consultation and takes about two hours, and a 45-day perfecting visit is $225. Other services include full face makeup at $75, a bridal makeup consultation at $100, a lash lift and tint at $160 taking about 70 minutes, and teeth whitening in half-hour ($65) or one-hour ($99) sessions.
Edna's Lash & Brow Academy, with its main center in Birmingham, offers a two-day eyelash extension certification ($500 deposit or $1,000 paid in full), a $599 volume extension course, microblading and shading classes at one or three days, one-on-one brow and microblading training, and a full body waxing course. The salon says it has trained over 2,500 students and that its lash classes are small-group, four a month with two in English and two in Spanish. Payment is due at booking and services are not refunded in cash, though the business guarantees its full-set service once booked. Cancellations or reschedules need 24 hours notice (48 hours for makeup consultations), and arriving more than 15 minutes late requires rescheduling and a $20 fee.
Each lash set is designed in a consultation with a customized Choose Your Style method. Permanent work such as lip blush and microblading begins with a consultation to confirm the result the client wants, and the academy's training includes one-on-one time with the lead artist.
