Aveda was founded in 1978 by hairstylist Horst Rechelbacher, and Eden chose to carry the line because its values match the salon's, including environmental responsibility, organic botanicals and cruelty-free research. The salon says Aveda products have been cruelty-free and, starting in 2021, 100% vegan. Aveda products can be bought through the salon's website.

New clients get a free consultation, whether they book a service or come in just for that, and a 15-minute complimentary consultation is offered before appointments. Hair color prices are estimated before service begins. Guest payment plans are available for services over $200. Aveda Rituals include a cup of tea and a stress-relieving scalp and shoulder massage, and the salon describes its pricing as luxury services at luxury prices.

Haircuts run 30 to 75 minutes, offered as 30, 45, 60 and 75 minute appointments, and haircuts are priced gender-neutral. Services are offered without gendered categories, and staff are trained to work with all hair types and textures. Bridal trial-run hair, wedding day hair and updos are offered for weddings. The Eden Model Program gives clients discounted services while they take part in stylists' training sessions in haircuts, color, perms, skincare and styling. An online style-matching survey pairs clients with a stylist or esthetician.

Online bookings require a 50% deposit. Clients are asked to give 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, and late cancellations and no-shows are charged. Without a valid card on file, the balance is added to the client's account and must be settled at the next visit. Gift cards are available, and free take-home samples are offered. The salon is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday during the day, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and is closed Sunday and Monday.

Listens closely to each client and works to earn their trust, and uses Aveda products selected for their environmental values.
