The salon describes its service as luxurious but set in a cozy, down-to-earth environment. It is open Tuesday through Saturday, with Monday and Sunday closed, and hours vary by day.

Color is a major part of the menu, from single process and gloss to balayage, double process, foil highlights, custom blonding and corrective color. Corrective color is priced by the hour with a three-hour minimum and includes a consultation, formulation, and lightening and toning. A color consultation is available for $30.

Hair extensions are applied using the beaded weft method in three styles: The Eclipps Babe adds one row for volume and fullness, The Eclipps Mane adds two rows for length and volume and is the salon's most requested service, and The Eclipps Bombshell uses three or more rows for longer length. An extension consultation is free, and extension maintenance is for clients who already have extensions and includes moving up or adjusting them.

Other services include keratin smoothing, perms, haircuts with a shampoo and blow dry style, clipper cuts for short styles and fades, blowouts, formal updos and soft waves, and repair or moisture treatments. Some services need a deposit because they take extended time. Deposits are nonrefundable but carry over to a rescheduled appointment. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, appointments are confirmed by phone or text, and a no-show fee of 50 percent of the service cost applies to guests who neither attend nor call. Clients who are running late are asked to call the salon or their stylist.

The team focuses on technique and fitting each look to the individual client, and uses PulpRiot, Pravana, Framesi and Redken products.
