The salon says its clients include people from entertainment, fashion and design, newsrooms and Wall Street, and that clients travel from around the world to visit.

The salon aims for a warm, caring and open environment for every client. Founder Merna built the business as a welcoming, intimate salon where the goal is for each client to leave feeling beautiful.

Services cover a wide range: cornrows, box braids, crochet braids and twist extensions; highlights, single and double process color, gloss and rinses; cuts, blow-dries and flat iron styling; natural hair blow-outs, twist sets and silk presses; relaxers, keratin and Brazilian blowout smoothing treatments; bond-building and protein treatments; and custom wigs with maintenance, color and cuts. Extensions are sewn in, seamless skin weft, micro link or keratin tipped, and the salon uses Duchess Brands hair.

Braid prices depend on size and style, and human hair is not included in braid prices, so clients are asked to call for a quote before booking.

The salon chooses products and brands for reliability and for how well they solve the specific problem they are meant to address.
