Weddings are a major focus. The salon states it was named in Boston Magazine's Best of Boston 2024 list for wedding hairstyling. Bridal services include on-site hair and makeup on the wedding day, and bridal parties can book the salon itself, with breakfast or lunch and mimosas offered. Bridal bookings begin with a consultation, requested through the website or by emailing bridal@eastwestsalonco.com. Guests are generally not permitted at appointments, except for bridal services.

Color prices include a blow-dry and follow standard mixture pricing, with an added charge for extra long or thick hair. Prices vary with the stylist's experience. Service enhancements such as scalp treatments and glosses are add-ons to a standalone appointment and do not include a blow-dry. Extensions and some color services require a consultation, so clients call the guest services coordinator to book them. Extension appointments can take three or more hours.

All appointments require a credit card at booking. Book through the online portal or by calling your preferred location, since availability is not confirmed by email. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may be charged, no-shows and same-day cancellations are charged in full, and arriving more than 20 minutes late counts as a missed appointment. Color and formal styling clients should arrive with clean, dry hair and may bring inspiration photos. Extension clients should arrive with clean, blow-dried hair. Spray tan clients should shave, wax or exfoliate 24 hours before, and avoid moisturizer on the day of the appointment.

The salon places a high value on education, describing its team as well educated, with continuing education that includes in-house brands and outside artists.
