Ease was founded by Kathlyn Flores to create a more individual, unhurried setting for facial care. Appointments are designed so clients have room to slow down, ask questions and learn how their skin works, and each treatment is adjusted to support skin health.
The menu is organized around a signature personalized facial called The Ease Method, which runs 70 minutes at $160 and is open to returning clients. It follows four stages named Evaluate, Activate, Sculpt and Ease, and combines targeted skincare, sculpting, lymphatic techniques and restorative touch, with extractions, exfoliation and LED used when they suit the client's skin. First-time clients can book The Ease Discovery, a 70-minute facial at $150 that starts with a skin consultation.
Other facials are built for specific needs. The Gentleman's Ease is a 50-minute facial at $150 designed for men's skin, and it addresses congestion, texture, dehydration, irritation and shaving-related sensitivity. Mom-to-Be Ease and Postpartum Ease, each 70 minutes at $160, are designed for skin during and after pregnancy with pregnancy-conscious products and techniques. The studio asks clients booking these to share how far along they are, any treatment restrictions or provider recommendations, and breastfeeding clients are asked to say so when booking Postpartum Ease so it can be adjusted.
Clients who live outside San Diego or cannot visit the studio can book an Ease at Home Virtual Consult, a 45-minute video session for home skincare guidance at $100. It includes a skin and lifestyle intake and ends with a personalized morning and evening skincare plan with product recommendations. An Ease at Home Skin Check-In, a 30-minute follow-up at $70, is available to clients who completed that consultation, and the first check-in is recommended about one to two months after the initial session.
Studio hours are Monday 10 AM to 5:30 PM, Thursday 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM. The studio is closed Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Each treatment is customized to the individual's skin and built around time to slow down and learn about skin health rather than rushing through a service.
