EarthBound Skin Spa is a locally owned medical spa on Ridge Road in McKinney, Texas, and states that it has more than ten years of experience. Its core offering is laser hair removal performed on the Lumenis SPLENDOR X.

The SPLENDOR X combines two wavelengths under the BLEND X name: ND:YAG at 1064nm and Alexandrite at 755nm. The salon says treatments using both wavelengths can be completed in as much as 75% less time than with other laser hair removal devices. Its spot is a 27mm square, which the business says is larger than the round spots on other units. The spa also states it was the first location in North Dallas to offer laser hair removal with this device.

During treatment, a Dual Cooling System blends cooled air with a cooled tip for comfort. Laser hair removal is performed without gel or topical numbing creams. Clients complete a Laser and Skin Care Intake Form before treatment and are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to finish paperwork.

Appointments are confirmed by email or text 48 and 24 hours beforehand. Changes, cancellations and no-shows require 48 hours' notice. A major credit card is needed to guarantee a booking, and a $50 charge applies if a cancelled or missed slot cannot be filled. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their service shortened so the next client can be seen. Completed services are not refunded. Unused retail products can be brought back within 7 days in their original packaging with a receipt, in exchange for store credit. Gratuity is not included in prices and can be paid at checkout by cash, check or credit card. Purchased gift vouchers cannot be refunded, and they cannot be turned into cash or used for tips. Packages and prepaid treatments expire 12 months after purchase and must be used within that period.

Laser treatments are offered without topical gels or numbing creams and use a dual cooling system for comfort.
