E2beauty started in 2013 as a wedding hair and makeup team working from a home studio. The name stands for its two founders, Eugenia and Elaine. In November 2014 the team moved into a salon suite in Tustin and opened E2beauty Lounge, offering hair, skincare, lashes, permanent makeup and special occasion services. Sarah became a business partner in 2018, and the business now operates from Santa Ana.

Mental health advocacy is part of the business's mission. It donates to the National Alliance on Mental Illness directly and also through a clothing collaboration with Joseph + Sue. Since 2016 it has also pledged to donate 5% of its weddings to organizations including Shear Love International, Grandma's House of Hope and Dignity not Despair.

The headspa menu has four treatments. The Express is a 30-minute detox designed to be added to other salon services. The Essential (60 minutes) deep cleanses and exfoliates to balance the scalp, and The Therapy (90 minutes) focuses on stress relief, circulation and nourishment. The 105-minute Rejuvenation is an anti-aging treatment aimed at activating hair follicles for growth and includes a mini facial. Except for the Express, each treatment includes a scalp analysis, a quick blowdry and options for hot tool styling, a haircut or makeup. Guests are offered Korean tea or other drinks, with an optional snack. Each treatment uses a customized set of professional products chosen for the client's needs.

Girls' parties and sessions take place upstairs in the private loft. The Girls Glam Session is two hours for six girls and includes nails, makeup, hairstyling and an optional photoshoot; it costs $600 on weekdays and $700 on weekends. The Spa/Self Care Party is also two hours for six girls, with spa robes, a skincare workshop, a nail station, a lip bar and an affirmation activity; it costs $375 on weekdays and $450 on weekends. Additional girls cost $75 each for glam parties (12 maximum) and $35 each for spa parties (10 maximum). Spa party groups over 10 have a 15% service charge added. Guests may bring their own food and drinks or pre-order from local restaurants two weeks ahead. Parties may be placed on a waitlist, and photo studio rental is offered with The Space OC, priced by inquiry.

Clients should arrive at least 15 minutes early, since late arrivals may not get a scalp analysis and treatments may be shortened. Salon appointments can be booked up to 30 days ahead online or by text, and wedding and event bookings up to 9 months ahead. Wedding and event travel is limited to 100 miles roundtrip from the salon; destination weddings such as Malibu, San Diego, Temecula and Lake Arrowhead are quoted if available. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000 and needs approval before the appointment. Services follow state board sanitation guidelines. Stylists may apply to work at the salon on commission or on a rental basis, which is offered monthly or at $85 per day.

The business's stated purpose is to connect people, create beauty and cultivate a safe space. The salon says its products are high-quality name brands with innovative technology and clean, natural ingredients.
