Extensions and dimensional blonding are the core of the work. Blonde services range from full and partial lightening with gloss, to face-framing highlights with a root smudge, to ultra-fine highlights throughout the hair for maximum lightness. Balayage and foilayage are done with a combined method of teased foils, hand-painted ribbons and custom placement. Traditional hand-painted balayage may be possible for some hair, but clients should mention any previous permanent color before booking.

For brunette and bronde clients, options include a multi-step move to a deeper brunette tone, all-over glossing lowlights for blondes, and grey coverage with a permanent root touch-up, all-over gloss and a blowout. Custom color is designed to last around 12 weeks, with gloss or toner refreshes recommended in between. Most color services finish with a signature blowout.

Extensions begin with a consultation, which can be virtual or in person. The 30-minute Extension Consultation covers questions, color matching and pricing, and is listed at no charge. Pricing depends on hair type, length, technique and customization, so an exact cost comes after an assessment. Sew-in weft move-ups are offered with or without a blow dry. New clients can also complete a complimentary Beauty Budget Assessment to receive a custom estimate.

Hours are Tuesday 10am to 7pm, Thursday and Friday 11am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm; the studio is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. New clients receive a confirmation email or text after booking a first appointment. The studio can be reached at 586-307-6222 or emily@elanluxurysuite.com.
