Dzialo Skin Care has been operating in Portland since 1986 and is built around the work of its owner, Sharon Dzialo, who is an esthetician. The business describes its anti-aging skin care as working without scrubs, machines or chemicals, and says its formulas are free of fillers. Its method draws on decades of practice and research, and its products are packaged in glass to protect them from light.

The menu is short and focused on facials. The Clarificante Acne Facial, 60 minutes and $115, is designed for blemish-prone skin. It starts with a soothing preparation, uses dual collagen fleeces, and puts its emphasis on extracting clogged pores. The Luminoso Rituale Facial, 75 minutes and $128, is a longer session that opens with a hand and arm massage, then cleansing and preparation, optional extractions, a massage of the face, neck and shoulders, and dual collagen fleece application. This facial can be booked for two people at the same time.
