Dye Another Day is a hair studio in suite 103 at 1711 Spring Green Boulevard in Katy. Alanna Thorson returned to Katy in 2022 to open her own suite, and in September 2024 the studio expanded into a double suite alongside a friend and mentor from her early salon years.

About

The menu centers on color: highlights and balayage, full-color and root-touch appointments, toners, bleach-out blonding, corrective color, and vivid and fantasy shades. Blowouts, a Brazilian smoothing treatment, a Leaf & Flower treatment for strands and humidity frizz, extension installs and cuts are also offered. Color consultations are free, and first-time extension clients must book a free extension consultation first. Anyone unsure which service fits can message the studio directly for help choosing.

The studio does not take appointments for men's cuts or pixie cuts. Services are priced from a starting amount and balayage, corrective color, vivid and fantasy color and extension installs are priced by the look. A 50% fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.

Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM, with the studio closed on Sunday and Monday. The studio is on Instagram at @dyeanotherdaystudio, and its booking page lists 31 reviews.
