DUPP&SWAT Creative Studio

DUPP&SWAT is a creative company in Charlotte, North Carolina, founded in 2010 by siblings Davita and Dion Galloway. It started as a private creative studio and has since grown to include event, gallery, retail and salon spaces.

The Studio is the company's event space for celebrations, workshops, shoots, meetings, launches and pop-ups. It is typically open Wednesday through Saturday from 12 to 7 PM, with hours changing when an event is being hosted. Exhibits at the Stu, the company's art exhibition program, runs alongside it.

Fresh Produce, created in 2022, is a retail boutique and online shop featuring goods from independent creators, including clothing, accessories and home goods. The online shop is listed as always open. The E.T. League is a membership community for creatively curious people.

Cell Therapy, launched in 2025, is the beauty and barber parlor offering hair, nails and barbering. It hosts independent beauty professionals who rent booths and set their own services, schedules and booking.

Beyond these spaces, the company runs DUPP&SWAT University, which offers curriculum and digital resources, and CrownKeepers, a nonprofit focused on resources, visibility and opportunities for artists and creatives. It also runs the Hella Blk Hella Fly lifestyle brand and offers venue rental, creative consulting and training for organizations. The company says it has produced more than 2,300 experiences and engaged more than 100,000 people.

The company says its purpose is to make room for artists, creatives, ideas and people.
