Microloc clients begin with a consultation, a 30-minute Zoom video call to answer questions and check whether a client is a good candidate. A consultation is required before a first microloc install, especially for first-time clients, and its fee is one-time and separate from the deposit. Established locs from another stylist can be transferred after a consultation call to see whether the fit is right. Install pricing depends on hair needs and starts at roughly $800 to $1,200. The install itself takes about nine hours and is planned on an installation grid based on density, size and length.

Other services include feed-in and knotless braids, sewn-in and quick weave styles, silk presses, twist-outs, retwists and interlocking traditional locs, locs combouts, and haircuts for men and children up to 10. Shampoo is included, and clients may also arrive with hair already washed. Dricka travels to clients as a mobile stylist, with a fee based on distance and time.

Coaching sessions are booked by the hour at $222 per hour, and several hours can be booked in one session. Topics can include personal development, therapy, classes to learn a hair service, marketing, branding, and social media content and strategy.

Booking is held with a deposit paid through CashApp, which goes toward the service and is due within 30 minutes of booking. Deposits are $25 for feed-in braids, silk presses and sewn-in services, and $50 for knotless braids. A client may reschedule once under the same deposit; after that a new deposit is required. The full salon address is sent once the deposit is paid.

Microloc work starts with a consultation to confirm fit, and transfer clients are taken on after a call.
