Lash extensions are applied by hand, gluing individual extensions to each natural lash in a semipermanent set. The technician helps the client choose between synthetic mink and synthetic silk. A full set is $350, and touch-ups are scheduled at roughly two, three or four weeks, priced at $75, $80 or $90 respectively. Before an appointment, clients are asked to arrive with clean skin and no eye makeup, including mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow. For the first day or so afterward, clients should wait at least 24 hours before swimming or getting the lashes wet. The studio's after care kit costs $60 and includes NovaLash night-time conditioner and cleanser pads with pomegranate seed extract.
Microblading uses a manual handheld tool to implant pigment under the skin, drawing hair-like strokes that resemble brow hairs. The studio describes this work as a form of tattoo artistry. First-time microblading clients can book a special introductory price of $350. A touch-up at four to six weeks is $150, additional touch-ups are $200, and brow fills are priced by coverage: 25 percent for $400, 50 percent for $450, 75 percent for $500 and 100 percent for $550. The studio says brows look slightly darker right after the procedure and that the color fades by about 30 to 40 percent. Clients are asked to avoid alcohol, aspirin and retinol during the week before. Afterward, the treated area should stay dry for a week, including no sweaty workouts, swimming or face washing with water, and no makeup or products on the brows while they heal.
Waxing covers body and facial hair, from lip and chin to full arm, full leg and chest. The studio recommends the hair be about 1/8 to 1/4 inch long before a wax, and clients are advised not to shave afterward, since shaving reverses the effect. The studio says its waxing is performed by trusted professional therapists. Prices run from $10 for lips to $60 for a full leg. Cancelling or rescheduling on the day of an appointment incurs a $50 charge.
