Every new client completes a consultation form before booking any dreadlock appointment. Forms are reviewed in the order received, usually within a week or longer. After review, clients receive an emailed quote with instructions for booking. The studio reserves the right to decline service to anyone.
Deposits are 50% of the estimated service cost, plus the cost of hair when extensions are added. The deposit is due when the appointment is booked, is non-refundable, and is applied to the final bill after the service. A deposit can move to a new date if the appointment is rescheduled at least 72 hours ahead, and it can be transferred only twice and must be used within six months of the original date. Deposits are forfeited for cancellations under 72 hours ahead, no-shows, cancellations not rescheduled within three months, or arrivals more than 30 minutes late. Clients arriving more than 30 minutes late pay for the missed time and may need to reschedule.
The studio describes its scalp and loc treatments as luxury cleansing, detoxifying and moisturizing care for natural dreadlocks. Parking is free on the street with no time limits, and clients are asked not to block a driveway.
Creates new natural dreadlocks by backcombing and using a crochet hook, without gels, wax or string. Maintains existing natural dreadlocks with the same crochet hook method.
A private studio that is not open to walk-in visitors.
