Moles can be removed with radiofrequency using the Ellman Surgitron, a method that involves no scalpel and no stitches. Shave removal and scalpel excision are also available, and they are the preferred choice when a lesion needs a biopsy or deeper removal. Other treatments include sun spot removal with a cryotherapy device that delivers nitrous oxide, focused cryotherapy for seborrheic keratosis, an insulated needle for sebaceous hyperplasia, and CryoPen removal of skin tags. Skin tags can often be handled in the same visit as mole or sun spot treatment.
Every area is checked before anything is removed. Moles or lesions with features that raise concern for skin cancer, or that warrant a biopsy, are not treated cosmetically and are referred to primary care or dermatology. Mole removal starts at $500, with discounted rates for additional moles treated in the same procedure, and the price includes follow-up visits at two and six weeks. The final price varies with the size and location of the moles. Skin tag pricing depends on the number, size and location of the tags. Small tags are often treated without numbing, larger ones may need topical or injected lidocaine, and they generally fall off within two to three weeks.
Microneedling is available with hyaluronic acid for $399, taking about an hour, or with platelet-rich fibrin for $499, taking about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Treatment is customized to the person's skin concerns and goals.
New patients book an initial in-person consult before treatment. A free consultation includes a personalized recommendation and a price estimate, so the client can decide whether to proceed. Patients who travel long distances can arrange a phone consult.
Each area is evaluated before any cosmetic treatment, and a growth with uncertain features may be referred for medical evaluation or biopsy. Treatment plans aim for natural-looking results, with concerns, options and expected healing discussed with each patient.
