Dorsey College Saginaw

Its main campus is in Madison Heights, with affiliate campuses in Dearborn, Grand Rapids, Roseville, Saginaw, Wayne and Woodhaven. The Grand Rapids campus page describes the college as the longest running career school in Michigan.

The beauty services are a public salon run as part of the school's training. Services are performed by students who practice on real clients, and licensed instructors supervise the work. Hours and appointments are arranged by contacting the campus directly.

Dorsey College holds accreditation from the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. That accreditation extends to its main campus in Madison Heights and to affiliated sites, Roseville among them. The U.S. Department of Education lists the college as a private nonprofit institution of higher education. Graduates who finish a program can use career services, but the college makes no promise that they will find a job after graduating.

Training combines classroom instruction with hands-on practice, and salon services are performed by student stylists under the supervision of licensed instructors.
