The studio operates out of the owner's home in Vienna, Virginia, and Donna Cloud handles the color work herself. Grey coverage, root touchups and custom highlights are the core services, often paired with a cut and style finish.

New clients begin with a free consultation, held by FaceTime or in person, and the owner follows up by text within a day or two. Some options are limited to current clients, and the haircut, blowout and style service is not currently open to new clients. Current clients can book a wider range, from a quick wash and blowout to keratin relaxer or permanent wave.

Listed prices are starting points based on hair thickness and the color needed, and they may change without notice. Payment is accepted by Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, bank transfer and cash. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, late arrivals may have the service shortened to fit the remaining time, and clients unhappy with their hair can email within 7 days for a no-charge correction. Retail products may be returned for a full refund within 10 days if the buyer is not satisfied and the product comes back.

On arrival, guests have a place to keep belongings and are offered a beverage and a warm towel and cape, with a smock provided to protect clothing.

Communication is open throughout, and the goal is hair that looks good as a result of working closely with each client.
