DOLLFACE Skincare was founded by Lorene "Dolly" Edwards, a licensed esthetician. The studio is located inside The Hair Gallery in Avon Lake and focuses on personalized, non-invasive skincare, facials and corrective treatments.
The facial menu includes a Teen Clear Skin customized facial (50 minutes, $60), a Back 2 Smooth Skin Script back facial (45 minutes, $80), a Skin Script facial with consultation (50 minutes for $80 or 80 minutes for $120), TASO dermaplaning (45 minutes, $120), and an 80-minute customized facial with dermaplane ($130). A Skin Script whipped elderberry facial is listed at $40, and a Lemon Honey signature brightening and hydrating facial is offered under the Skin Script Rx range with no price shown.
The studio's own Skin Script Rx line includes fruit-based masks, enzymes and home care products, chosen for different concerns such as hyperpigmentation, acne, oily skin and firmness. Skin Script retail products, including cleansers, scrubs, pads and moisturizers, can be ordered by contacting the studio; retail orders ship to U.S. addresses only.
Visits are by appointment only. Hours run Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Clients complete a consultation and treatment waiver, and a pre-consultation form is available to download. Packages of services are offered, with discounts shown on the plans page. Waxing is available for lip or chin, nose, sideburns ($8 each, 15 minutes), eyebrows ($15, 15 minutes) and full face ($34, 30 minutes).
Skin is treated with ingredients meant to support clear, balanced and hydrated skin, and the studio's aim is for each client to leave feeling confident, refreshed and cared for.
