Brow appointments need brows to grow out for three to four weeks before a first visit. Lash appointments are best booked without eye makeup, and contacts should be removed before a lash lift. Brow tints are hand-mixed for each client. Custom nail art is booked by texting reference photos to the studio before the appointment. The studio also has a gift shop called Cheap Thrills.

Dollface sells its own makeup line, Hiya! Beauty, and uses those products in services. The online shop also carries retail items such as hats, bandanas, tools and brushes, with a flat $5 shipping charge on U.S. orders. The TakeCare Club loyalty program gives members 10% off services and products when their balance is used at checkout. Enrollment opens three times a year, in February, June and October, and balances do not expire or get refunded.

The studio builds its services around client choice and says there is no pressure to meet a particular beauty standard.
