DK Angelette

DK Angelette is a women's fashion house based in Baltimore. The house describes itself as a luxury women's label and says its collection is curated for mothers and their daughters and the bond between them. The brick-and-mortar boutique and salon have closed, and the house now runs online across several sites: the main shop, the hair design room, a closing-stock site and an outlet.

The main collection covers ready-to-wear, accessories, jewelry and eyewear. Bespoke and made-to-measure tailoring is cut and finished in the Baltimore studio. A custom commission begins with a first conversation and a sketch, then the client chooses the cloth and attends two to three fittings, producing a unique piece. Most commissions cost between $900 and $3,500, with the price depending on the cloth, the hand-work and the number of fittings. Commissions usually take six to twelve weeks, and bridal and heavily embellished pieces take longer. A 50% deposit starts a commission and is credited toward the final price, but it cannot be refunded once the cloth has been cut. Personal styling advises on proportion, fabric and silhouette, and hair artistry is worked out alongside the garment.

Studio Ex is a private hair design room that works by appointment only, with one guest at a time. Services include colour, cutting, conditioning, silk presses and styling. The salon lists 20 services across five groups: extension and weave installations, wig customization, protective and natural styling, precision cuts with chemical texturizing, and scalp and hair health add-ons. Prices are approximate and are confirmed at consultation, based on hair length, density and the work required. A $50 deposit secures each appointment and is applied to the service. A separate $50 fee applies to no-shows and to arrivals 15 or more minutes late. Consultations cost $50 and can take place in person or by video through The Virtual Salon.

Private Atelier Hour is a one-hour, one-to-one session with the founder covering garment, styling and hair, in person in Baltimore or by video. The Extended Hour runs 90 minutes and adds a working hair pass and a second garment try-on. The Half-Day runs two hours and adds a bespoke commission start, a full hair styling session and photographs of the look. The longer sessions are quoted on reply. A $50 deposit holds an Atelier Hour and is applied to any purchase.

Shipping is complimentary on house orders, and returns apply to house pieces. D'Angelette and SLASH pieces are final sale, as are swimwear, intimates, and custom or personalized items. The Annex (SLASH Outlet) sells marked-down house pieces, discontinued stock and other labels the house carries, and every price shown there is the price the piece actually carried. The Salon D'Angelette site sells samples, one-offs and last sizes from the former Baltimore National Pike store, shipping from Baltimore within three business days.

The house says it does not manufacture urgency or invent scarcity in its messaging, and that its rooms share one standard of care.
