Divine Electrolysis works only in electrolysis, a method of permanent hair removal that treats individual follicles. The studio is inside Zen Suites at 36 Main Street in Windsor Locks, and it is run by its founder, Ashley Gaetani.
Every new client has a consultation before treatment, including people who have had electrolysis somewhere else. The free 10-minute consultation is also open to anyone still deciding whether electrolysis is right for them. Friends or companions are asked to book their own consultations rather than joining a client's appointment.
Sessions run 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The studio describes three methods: thermolysis, galvanic, and a blend of the two. It also says it uses an electrolysis machine that pairs artificial intelligence with enhanced power. The chin, neck and underarms are the areas it names as most often treated.
Before an appointment, clients are asked to drink plenty of water over the preceding days and to skip caffeinated drinks on treatment day. Shaving between sessions is discouraged, as are waxing, threading, tweezing and hair removal creams, and clients are advised to limit sun and tanning bed exposure beforehand. Arriving with time to spare is requested.
Appointments can be booked online through a Square booking page. The studio's customer service hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm, and it is closed on weekends. The phone number is 203-679-1042.
Electrolysis is treated as a careful, detail-focused process, since each follicle is individually treated, and the studio emphasizes comfort, results and confidence for clients.
Clients describe the environment as gentle and reassuring.
