Divine Electrolysis is run by its founder, Araceli, who works as the electrologist. The practice describes its mission as safe, effective and permanent removal of unwanted hair, combining modern technology with personalized care.
Every new client begins with a consultation, which costs $25 and does not include treatment. It covers the treatment process, a review of health history, an assessment of the area, time for questions and a customized treatment plan. Electrolysis works by inserting a fine probe into each follicle and delivering a brief electrical current, after which the hair is lifted out. The practice uses galvanic, thermolysis or blend methods. The number of sessions varies: they are closer together at the start and spaced further apart later. Skin may be slightly red or puffy right after treatment, usually settling within minutes. The practice states that electrolysis works across all skin types, hair types, skin colors, hair colors and body areas, and that it can be used on tattooed areas without damaging the tattoo.
The practice offers permanent removal of facial, body and genital hair for transgender clients as part of gender confirmation, with privacy and discretion available as needed. For transgender women, facial hair is removed, and genital hair is removed before vaginoplasty or labiaplasty. For transgender men, hair is removed from the forearm or thigh used as the donor site for phalloplasty. The practice recommends completing treatment of the surgical area six to eight weeks before surgery, while most surgeons recommend one to six weeks. For transgender women, clearing one area generally takes about 100 to 400 hours of treatment over roughly one to three years, though this varies.
Appointments are required for treatments and consultations. Hours are Monday 8:15am to 2:00pm, Tuesday 8:15am to 7:00pm, Wednesday 8:15am to 2:00pm, Thursday 8:30am to 7:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8:15am to 2:00pm, and the practice is closed on Sundays. Treatment is priced by session length: 10 to 15 minutes costs $50, 30 minutes costs $70, 45 minutes costs $90, 1 hour costs $125, 1.5 hours costs $180 and 2 hours costs $225. Cost depends on the size of the area and the number of sessions needed. Private area pricing is not listed online and is handled by direct inquiry. Not all private areas are eligible, and certain health conditions may make a client ineligible, so the FAQ page should be reviewed before booking. The practice may postpone or decline treatment for safety, compromised skin or undisclosed medical information. Hair growing from a mole can only be treated with written permission from a physician or healthcare provider. A card is required to hold an appointment, cancellations and reschedules need 48 hours notice, and full payment is due at the visit by cash, Zelle or credit card. All service sales are final. The practice accepts Kaiser Permanente Southern California and Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP Direct) with a referral from the primary care provider.
The practice describes its work as built on trust, care and expertise, with a stated mission of safe, effective and permanent hair removal.
