Children who need extra minutes, a slower pace, or a parent close by are accommodated, and stylists take the time each child needs. Parents or guardians can tell the team when a child needs more patience or help feeling comfortable. Kids under 24 lb sit in fun car chairs, while heavier children use the regular styling chairs. A baby changing station is available for diaper changes only, with a 24 lb limit, and a child is never left alone on it. Free lollipops are offered with a parent's or guardian's approval.

The haircut menu covers kids' cuts for boys and girls, a first baby haircut that comes with a certificate and a lock of hair, buzz cuts, bangs and edge cleanups, and a surprise-toy cut. Adult and kids clippers are kept separate and used only on their own age group. Select services, including haircuts, buzz cuts and blow-dry styling, are available to adults 16 and older.

Appointments are booked by phone, and the salon asks customers to call for current hours and pricing. The DinoStyles Passport is requested at the front desk and gets a stamp at each visit, and 24 visits earn a Dino Friend.
