Dima Arabo established the salon in 2004. It later moved to a larger space in Chelsea to accommodate growing client demand, and it now sits at 233 West 19th Street.

The salon describes its technique as freestyle and its experience as a luxury hair visit. Its own description of the setting is chic, inviting, friendly and unpretentious. Cuts are shaped to each client rather than to a fixed template.

The menu covers color work from single process and toner glosses through highlights and balayage, plus straightening options such as keratin and Brazilian treatments, a thermal straightening service, and texture perms and relaxers. Haircuts range from kids' cuts and men's cuts to women's cuts, with bang trims and blow-dries available as well. Blow-dry is included with all color services. Make-up, hair extensions and eyelush extensions are priced after a consultation.

The salon launched a line of all-natural hair-care products, beginning with a styling mold designed for all hair types and textures. It went on sale in Fall 2017. According to the salon, the mold gives a natural shine and does not weigh hair down or leave it greasy.

The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 9pm and Sunday from 1pm to 7pm. Bookings can be made online through Fresha, and eGift cards are available in set amounts or a custom amount.

The salon works in a freestyle way, shaping each cut to the individual client. Its stated aim is a personal style for each person.
